Jill Sautkulis

Director of Operations | (203) 966 4515 x 112

Jill Sautkulis has been the Director of Operations at St. Mark’s since 2017, but that’s not the beginning of the story. Jill and her husband Michael came to St. Mark’s in 1996 with their first one, then two kids (who are now full-fledged adults!), and this place has been their church home and more ever since. Now she oversees staff operations, finances, and facilities at St. Mark’s. A graduate of Germantown Academy and Cornell University, Jill’s varied and circuitous professional background in hospitality operations, HR administration, and recruiting turns out to have been just the right preparation for this role. At St. Mark’s, Jill was first a Church School teacher (it’s a great way to get to know the people of the parish!). Eventually, Jill served on the Rector Search Committee that called Fr. Peter, then as Junior Warden, and finally as Senior Warden before joining the staff. She has a heart for service to our Lord and our church and gives thanks (nearly!) every day for this vocation. If there is anything you need at St. Mark’s, if Jill doesn’t have the answer, she probably knows who does!
