Faith Forum with the Very Rev. Dr. Robert Willis

October 20, 2024 @ 11:45 am - 12:45 pm

Join the Rev. Robert Willis, Dean Emeritus of Canterbury Cathedral, for a Sunday Forum at 11:45AM in the St. Mark’s Library on “Pilgrimage as a Spiritual Practice.” As dean, Rev. Willis welcomed thousands of visitors every year from all over the world to Canterbury, which has been a significant Christian pilgrimage destination for many centuries. He has many years of personal pilgrimage experience as well, and upon being named Dean Emeritus of Canterbury in 2023, Robert and his partner, Fletcher Banner, have been spearheading the development of Casa Anglicana, a new pilgrim center in Santiago de Campostela, Spain. The center welcomes pilgrims from all over the world, particularly Episcopal Anglicans, for overnight stays when they arrive in Santiago. This forum will explore the history and meaningful impact of Christian pilgrimage on spiritual formation. No need to sign up, just come!
